What has happened to the “Samba Football” that we have all been waiting to see?

Brazil beat the strong Australian team, with another disappointing victory. With a walking Ronaldo upfront, and with out the ability to put the ball in the back of the net, the Brazilian squad seems to lack their usual energy and flare. They don’t look like the world champions, and even in today’s game they were unable to captivate the crowd with their skills and style of play. In fact out on the field, they just looked like any other regular team, holding on to a small lead to win the game. Their central defense was sloppy and allowed Australia a few dangerous shots on goal, and their two strikers, Ronaldo and Adriano, were unable to create opportunities at goal. The one time that they did get something going, it resulted with a goal from Adriano.
